Hotelpepper.com – Searching the hottest hotel deals around

It was time to tweak and improve the backend search pages of hotelpepper.com.

Nothing radical here and mainly design tweaks here and there including a more friendly layout, more information on hotel page, better presentation of suppliers, better map icons, follows better user interface design principles, zoom images, and a handful of others.

Really, this can be said to be evolution rather than revolution.  However, would be great to hear your feedback on how you are finding the changes, if there’s anyother features of requests that you have and anything else worth mentioning.

iPhone and other internet enabled phones (Blackberry, Android) can now rock n’ roll the hotelpepper site too.

The usual desktop version of the site works great with safari on the iPhone already, but there is now a mobile version of the site that looks great on mobile phones (iPhone, Blackberry, Android included!) – visit the hotelpepper homepage to be automatically redirected or go to the mobile version of the site. If you ever want to visit this desktop version of the site, just click the “visit desktop” link at the bottom of the mobile site.

For geeks:

Any super cool web standards compliant browser will work to show you all the great hotel deals we can find, including: Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

As the site is standards compliant it works on all of those but will look super-better in Chrome, Firefox or Safari as it has some cool CSS3 rounded edges and other wizardry (geek alert).
